Haram Activities
In Islam, haram refers to actions or behaviors that are considered sinful or prohibited by Allah. Some examples of haram activities include:
Committing murder or suicide.
Engaging in illicit sexual relationships, such as premarital or extramarital sex.
Consuming alcohol or drugs.
Stealing or engaging in fraudulent activities.
Gambling or engaging in any form of speculative or risky behavior.
Using or promoting any form of divination or magic.
Participating in the persecution of Muslims or in activities that harm the community.
Disrespecting or dishonoring one's parents.
Lying, cheating, or bearing false witness.
In Islam, murder and suicide are both considered major sins, or haram actions. The taking of a life is considered one of the gravest of sins, as it is believed that only Allah has the right to take a life. The Qur'an states that "whosoever kills a human being, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whosoever saves the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind." (Qur'an, 5:32)
Suicide is also considered a major sin in Islam, as it is seen as a rejection of the will of Allah and an act of despair. It is believed that life is a gift from Allah and that it should be cherished and protected. The Qur'an states that "Do not kill yourselves, for Allah is merciful to you." (Qur'an 4:29)
In Islam, engaging in any form of illicit sexual relationships, such as premarital or extramarital sex, is considered haram, or forbidden. The Qur'an states that "Do not come near to fornication, it is an indecent act and an evil way." (Qur'an, 17:32)
Islam teaches that sex is a sacred act that should be confined to the confines of marriage, and therefore premarital or extramarital sex is not allowed. This is to protect the sanctity of marriage, the family unit and to promote moral values within society.
Premarital sex is prohibited as it is seen as a means of avoiding the responsibilities and commitment that come with marriage. Extramarital sex is also prohibited because it is seen as a betrayal of the trust and commitment that one has made to their spouse.
In Islam, gambling and engaging in any form of speculative or risky behavior is considered haram, or forbidden. Gambling is seen as a form of wasting money and a potential source of social and economic harm. The Qur'an states "O ye who believe! Strong drink and games of chance and idols and divining arrows are only an infamy of Satan's handiwork. Leave it aside in order that ye may succeed." (Qur'an 5:90)
Islam encourages its followers to work hard and be productive and to avoid anything that can lead to laziness and idleness. Gambling is viewed as a form of wasting time and resources, it is seen as a means of acquiring wealth without exerting any effort and can lead to addiction, debt, and other social and economic problems.
Similarly, engaging in any form of speculative or risky behavior is also discouraged as it is seen as a form of gambling with one's wealth and resources. Islam emphasizes the importance of caution, responsibility, and prudence in managing one's financial affairs.

As a muslim it's important to remember that even though these acts are haram, Allah is merciful and forgiving and through sincere repentance, one can seek forgiveness and redemption.
We can summarize that anything you would think is a haram activity, anything your heart tells you that it might be wrong to do it, it is best to avoid it or ask someone more knowledgeable about such things in order to distance yourself from haram and remain on the proper path as a muslim.
